Abstract
Malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) is a common sarcoma of the soft tissue, usually occurring in the extremities and less commonly in the retroperitoneal space, the abdominal cavity, or other site such as the skin or the head and neck resion.
However,
MFH of the liver is quite a rare neoplasm. This tumor has five distinct histological subtypes: storiform pleomorphic, myxoid, giant cells, inflammatory and angiomatoid. Recently, we experienced a case of primary MFH in a surgically removed liver.
This
case is reported with a review of the literature.
